Our Mission
Our mission is to increase the supply of affordable and accessible housing in Mansfield and Richland County.
Our work was recognized through the Source Media Solutions Seeker Award in July 2022. Above all, we want to prove that one can do well by doing good; that is, one can serve the best interests of the community and make money. Our goal is to use the profitable arm of our business operations to finance our mission-based work.
Affordable & Accessible Housing
How: (1) Use Federal HOME grants from the Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) to build new rental units in Mansfield, Ohio for kids aging out of foster care.
(2) Rent to formerly incarcerated individuals, first-time renters, and households receiving Section 8 Vouchers.
Status: Applying for HOME grants and exploring partnerships with local organizations. At the moment, we rent roughly half of our portfolio to formerly incarcerated individuals, first-time renters, and households receiving Section 8 Vouchers.
